Shipping & Returns


Dark Earth Energy is a small business with all products made in small batches and packaged by hand. Shipping costs are calculated by USPS. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, including any international charges or tariffs. We take the utmost care in packaging and handling our products before sending them off to you! For special requests, gifting options, and other personalization, please email and we will be as accommodating as possible! This excludes any guarantee for "rush orders" ("rush orders" re classified as a request to have a product made and shipped within 1-2 business days). Some products require wild harvested herbs or special orders from a third party, or they take longer to make (i.e. candles take up 2 weeks to properly cure). For these reasons, we do not offer "rush orders" as a service. Please allow any personalized items or gifts ample time to be made by hand and shipped. 

While we take the utmost care packaging our products, we acknowledge that some products will be in transit for longer periods of time before reaching their destination, and we are not liable for any damage that occurs while in transit. We are, however, understanding on customized/personalized products, and purchases with special gift requests ("gift request" categorized as a product that was modified in packaging or creation to suit a specific person/occasion via email discussion with Dark Earth Energy at In the event of damage occurred in transit, on these products only, we will consider offering the appropriate action which may include, but is not limited to, return or remake. Refunds without return are not accepted. Shipping costs will also be calculated on a case by case basis, giving reasonable accommodation, when it comes to returns, remakes, or exchanges for personalized or "gift requests" only. 

Return & Exchange Policy

All products are made by hand in small batches. They will have slight, unique differences such as coloration and texture due to the use of natural products. We do not offer refunds or returns unless a personalized product of "gift request" (see shipping policy for "gift request" definition) incurs damage during transit. As outlined in the shipping policy, refunds without returns are not accepted, and are only offered on personalized or "gift request" items.
